Here are the resources I used to help me build Crunchy Pixelz. I knew nothing about coding before making a Neocities site, but thanks to all the helpful folks out there making tutorials and sharing code snippets, I turned my web design ideas from sketches to reality.
Teppy’s Layouts - a site with all sorts of fun designs+code for webpages, including tutorials on how to upload your layout to Neocities.
I began with this design called “never suitable,” then edited the hell out of it from there. My site’s layout has very little in common with the original, but I had to credit Teppy’s Layouts just the same. I wouldn’t have known where to start if I didn’t first have “never suitable” to work off of as a template.
I was having a problem with the iFrame code on my site where refreshing any page would take me back to the homepage. Thankfully this bit of script shared on the Melonland forums fixed that.
